Connector 1: One Mini DisplayPort Male. Connector 2: One DisplayPort Male. Please note: This cable can only connect a Mini DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort display. It will not work with a DisplayPort source to a Mini DisplayPort display. These 1.1 DisplayPort cables support a single video source. For reference, version 1.2, as it occurs in the future, will support multiple video streams for such devices that require the additional bandwidth. System Reqs : This cable can only connect a Mini DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort display. It will not work with a DisplayPort source to a Mini DisplayPort display.
