Hi, Need long cord to go from laptop to projector; assume Nippon Labs SVGA-25 would do the job, correct? and what do I need if the laptop is an Apple versus a PC, some special converter? Thank you

Should work for standard VGA connection from laptop to projector. As far as for a Mac, depends on the model. I'm not a mac expert and have seen different converters needed (depending on the age of the mac) But a display port to VGA adapter should work.
