Im looking at buying a 3rd monitor to run on my r6770 i have two dvi slots for my two screens now and i still have a hdmi port and a display port left  on the card the monitor im looking at buying ITEM N82E16824254114 will this cable work with that monitor? going right from the monitor to the display port on my card for a 3rd monitor hooking it up that way with Eyefinity?

I tried this cable for connecting VGA output from my laptop to DP input on a splitter for two monitors.  It did not work in that direction (VGA->DP) but in your case it would probably work since you're going in the opposite direction (DP->VGA).
I'm also assuming the monitor has a VGA connection, as I didn't look up your part number and I don't work for Newegg, just providing feedback on my experience with the cable.
