A (very unhelpful) customer "review" on Newegg claims that this board is capable of running a Pentium G3258. However, the ECS website makes no mention of this, nor has there been a bios update posted for this board for a year. Will a Pentium G3258 even boot on this board, not to mention overclock?

I am running the Intel Pentium G3220 Haswell Dual-Core 3.0GHz LGA 1150 54W Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646G3220 and have no issues. It booted right up with out any issues. I am even using the Dual video. I hope this helps some. As for the Intel Pentium G3258 Haswell Dual-Core 3.2GHz LGA 1150 Desktop Processor BX80646G3258 I do not see an issue with it as it is for the LGA1150 socket.
