It says 14th Gen in the heading but the description says 12th and 13th. What's up with that?

Intel's socket LGA1700 hasn't changed now since the 12th generation CPUs. This motherboard is an LGA1700 and is compatible with all three generations of chips. Been a long time since Intel has had 3 generations of chips socket compatible. I have the LiveMixer motherboard and it is pretty good and stable. (running 24x7 as a server).

Can I put a GPU into PCIE1 and M.2 Gen 5 into M2_1 so the GPU will be in x8 mode and M.2 will be in x4 mode? Thank you.

Why do you need so much speed out of your SSD, but so much less for your GPU? Gen5 vs Gen4 SSD speeds are negligible for loading games. Even Gen3 speeds are enough for gaming.

Wifi connection possible?

Yes, just buy Intel 6E wi-fi card, around 25 dollars
