Question 1

Can you use this graphics card to mine any crytocurrencies? Just curious, trying to build and sell mining rigs for profit.

Yes you can use this card to mine crypto. However, it's not a great card for it. It doesn't have sufficient memory for Ethereum-based coins, and it's clock and memory speeds aren't really sufficient to mine anything else efficiently. You see, mining crypto is a competitive market. Coins are rewarded based on who mined the block that resulted in a new coin. Those blocks are "few and far between" (rare). Even using a mining pool, the hashes this card can mine are so few comparatively, that your portion of the pool's profit will not even come close to paying for the power to mine. If you're getting free electricity, then you can maybe profit by using this card; only if the computer in which you install it was basically free as well. I imagine you could mine $20 a year with this card if you mined for a pool. That means it would pay for itself in 20 months assuming a free computer rig and free electricity.

Does it have low profile brackets?

Yes.  The SAPPHIRE Radeon R5 230 cards we purchased did come with short brackets that can be substituted for the full-height brackets.

Will this work on a PCI "1.0" Express slot?

I can't say I've seen any x8 PCIe slots that are PCIe 1.0. Are you sure you don't mean a x1 PCIe Slot?  If so, the answer to that is no. This card is an x8 card.

The last driver from AMD for this card was released in March of 2016 and it is a beta.

I see that this card has multiple connection options. Is it capable of a dual screen setup (one to a VGA monitor and the other to a TV via HDMI)?
