Is this a sun UNIX product for sun ultra sparc machine So?

No the name has nothing to do with Sparkstation nor sun. Is sais PCI express card. I bought one and it is rock steady, fabulous and inexpensive. I highly recommend it. Win 7 64Bit. I got very high speeds out of this 3.1 card with a 3.1 usb dock SSD.

Where is the power connector? Do you provide drivers for Ubuntu Linux 15.04? Do you pay return shipping if it doesn't work with my computer which has a PCI Express x16 slot (PCI Express Bus SPEC V2.0 compliant) and should work?

Hi Art, I can answer the first question; there is no power connecter, it get what it gets from the bus. I use it with Windows 7 and it has worked problem free with the Windows 7 driver. I have tested it with a mechanical hard drive in a usb 3.1 shell and it does achieve speeds about a third faster than usb 3.0. (Might do better with an ssd).
