I have Asus Rampage II Extreme x58 motherboard. I don't understand what slot this card would go into on the board. The description on here says it is PCI Express but my PCI Express slots appear to be longer slots than what this cards plug-in looks like. Does it still fit in that slot, just not use the whole slot? I'm almost positive I am looking for this item and not something else. I have a NZXT Switch 810 chassis, which has two USB 3 ports built into front panel. My motherboard doesn't have USB 3 headers. This is the type of product I need?

There are many flavors of PCI Express and luckily, as long as your slot is longer, it will likely be able to use the shorter ones. I currently have this card in a longer slot and it is working fine for me.
