Koutech Add-On Card Model IO-PEP110

Question

Koutech Add-On Card Model IO-PEP110 - states it uses a PCI Express interface - yet - the picture is showing what is known as a PCIe interface. so, are they saying this card can be plugged into a PCI Express slot (82 Pins) and work?? with all of it's 18 Pins??

A PCIe card will physically fit (and work correctly) in any slot that is at least as large as it is (e.g. an x1 card will work in a x4, x8 or x16 slot), and a slot of a large physical size (e.g. x16) can be wired electrically with fewer lanes (e.g. x1 or x8) however, it must still provide the power and ground connections required by the larger physical slot size.

So the PCIe x1 card should work in any PCIe slot. However I was able to insert my Koutech Parallel Port card into a PCIe x1 slot on my Motherboard, so I can't really report that it will work for you in a larger slot. My card was found by Win. 8 and drivers installed easily. Now I am able to use my old HP LaserJet 6p on the new system.
