How long can it fly in normal conditions?

Mine lasts about 20 minutes which is actually a lot longer than you think when taking video.  Just FYI,  I have flown it out to over 6000 feet away and up to 1000 feet in the air and still had good signal.    Video is so steady you think you are looking at a photograph if you don't move the aircraft.   The return home feature has always brought it back to within 4 feet of where I took off.   Awesome piece of equipment.

Do you get feedback on altitude and location? If so, how? On your smartphone thru the app?

All information is shown on your Smartphone or tablet using the DJI GO app.    Altitude is shown in the app at the bottom of the camera view.   I have found the altitude show gets inaccurate if you fly a long ways away, like a mile.   But when you get close to the ground, say 10 feet or so the ultrasonic sensors on the aircraft take over and the altitude gets accurate again.  Your position is shown on a map in the corner or full screen.   You can even switch to a Google Earth view where your position is shown as an arrow pointing in your direction of travel on a satellite map.   I've tested mine up to 1500' in the air and flown over 2 miles away while still receiving video.   The higher you fly,  the longer the range for the video.   I live in a very rural area and would not recommend those extremes for anyone else.  Overall,  it does work as advertised.
