Whats in the Box

Supermicro lets you take advantage of the increasing capacities of 3.5" form factor drives with the SYS-6026T-NTR+ 2U server barebone system. It is based on the new Super X8DTN+ motherboard and will accept up to 2 Intel Xeon processors with 2 or 4 cores each. To support all the processing power you can install up to 144GB of fully buffered ECC memory.
The front of the chassis has 8 hot swappable 3.5" drive bays. The motherboard has 6xSATA ports and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10. If you use an optional UIO SAS card the drive bays become hot swappable. An EIDE port lets you plug in 2 other drives.
All these fit into a 2U chassis. The whole thing is powered by a 1+1 720W redundant power supply so the system will get all the power that it needs. The back panel has 2x USB 2.0 and 2xGigabit Ethernet ports.
