Does this server only support low profile graphic cards?

Yes but you'll be hard to find many modern low profile graphic cards unless you can afford nvidia k10-80.

Does anyone know where to get the backup battery for the LSI2008 SAS controller in this box? What's the product number for it?

The LSI 2008 controller is an HBA (the pcie model is marketed as a 9211-8i), not an actual RAID controller. It does not support a BBU.
