The StarTech.com BLANKB2 is a 2U black steel blanking panel for 19-inch 2-post and 4-post server racks, suitable for IT teams filling unused rack space and helping guide airflow along the back of the rack.
Recommended For
- Rack administrators with an unused 2U opening in a standard 19-inch rack who want to close the gap and help guide airflow through installed equipment rather than through empty rack space.
- Data-center teams managing front-to-back airflow in racks with empty spaces, where covering unused openings can help limit bypass airflow and hot-air recirculation.
- Home-lab and small-office rack owners who have a compatible 2U gap and want a finished, consistent-looking rack face while leaving that space available for future equipment.
- Rack installers or IT teams who want a rigid steel filler panel for an unused 2U space in a standard 19-inch rack or cabinet.
