How quiet is this Power Supply? Can it handle an Intel i3-6320 with 120GB SSD, 8GB RAM, and GTX 745 4GB and still be silent?

Accepted Answer

The CPU, RAM and SSD combined will be using about 75Watts under maximum load, so you just need to determine what the maximum power is that the video card will use.  Although some video cards will recommend some minimum size for power supply, I believe that is often a recommendation for the total system and not necessarily the actual power that is required by the video card itself.

Does anyone know if this pwr supply works as a replacement for the pwr supply in a synology 1815+?  if so are modifications required? Much appreciate

I got this for my ssynology 1515+ and the cabling is different. All I needed was the fan, so it worked for me (swapping this fan for my old one, and keeping the same power supply). You will probably need to resolder wiring at a minimum to make it work.
