The listing claims only one 3.0 port but several of your reviews for this product proclaim three 3.0 ports for this device. Are you mis-describing this device or have you ascribed the wrong customer reviews to this device?

I have bought one of these and I can tell you that only the USB port on the end that has the blue color in it is 3.0. The other three on the side are USB 2.0. I purchased this to plug multiple devices into my Macbook Pro which are just USB 2.0. I do use the one on the end for my USB 3.0 Flash Drive with excellent results.

Regarding the 1xUSB3.0, 3xUSB2.0 version: can this be used as a USB2.0 only hub? My tablet doesn't have blue-tooth so I got a USB keyboard and case. I need a hub this shape with a port on the end to connect the keyboard to. That way I wouldn't need to unplug the keyboard when closing it.

Yes, you can use this with any USB port. Just make sure the tablet isn't micro-USB. Other than that, you will be fine.

Is this ok for use for data transmission from one or more usb devices not just a charging station as ooor shielding caused a feedback hum from my usb speakers?

Yes. I use it to plug in a WD passport to image the laptop's hard drive.
