How does the item connect to the computer? I have a free 11 Pin connector on the motherboard and tried to connect a 9 Pin one but it would not work. I assume my 9 Pin one was for USB 2.0 and the 11 Pin is for USB 3.0. I need it for for my SD Ram from my camera. I have a Lenovo M58 Model 7373

As shown on the third photo on the Newegg page, the USB 2.0 connection is a 4-pin female header (the black one) while the USB 3.0 is a USB type A plug.  The type A cable is intended to run through the cut-out in the "low-profile" bracket shown in photo 4 to a USB 3.0 socket on the system's rear panel.  I have a full tower case and the cable was sufficiently long.

However, your Thinkcentre M58 does not appear to support USB 3.0, so the 3.0 port on this device will only work at 2.0 speeds.  Also to connect this device you would have to remove the connection to one of the two existing front panel USB currently using the motherboard headers (items 15 & 16 on page 76 of the ThinkCentre Hardware Maintenance Manual)

You could also purchase a card to use in your PCI Express x1 adapter card slot, such as the "Transcend USB 3.0 Dual Expansion Card PCI Express Interface Model TS-PDU3" to add USB 3.0 capabilities. 
Lastly, be aware that the memory card slots on the ZE-C268 use the USB 2.0 connection so no USB 3.0 transfer speeds.

A better option would be the "Baaqii A210 3.5" PCI-E PCI Express to 3.0 Internal Combo USB 3Port Hub+Card Reader" which also uses the PCI express slot, but provides a front panel USB 3 reader that will give you much faster SD transfers.

Disclaimer, the Lenovo documentation is lacking, so the above statements are based upon my best guess after reviewing said documentation.
