will this work with USB 2.0?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  USB 3.0 is downward compatible with USB 2.0.
It will just read and write slower, since 2.0 speed is slower than 3.0 speed.

Question 2

Is there a hole that can atach to a keyring? I cant tell from the pics.

Kind of.......there is a very tiny slot in the back of this otherwise bulky flash drive that is about1/4" wide X 1/8" tall that you "might" be able to force a very thin keyring through.  But be warned.... it is going to be a tight fit with very little slack which I predict would quickly break this slot......possibly causing you to loose your flash drive and all the data it holds.

Question 3

My thumb drive that I'm gonna be replacing fits on a ring for my keychain. Does this drive have the ability to attach to a ring? By looking at the pictures it is unclear if the drive will or not.

It does have a ring opening, but it is only about 1/16th of an inch.  I would say that any ring would have to be real skinny and even at that it would not float very well on the ring.  In other words it would be very rigid once you got a ring through it.  The opening is more appropriate for some type of leather strap.

Question 4

Is this an NTFS flashdrive?

The drive can be formatted with NTFS if you want. Ho inconvenient that is depends on the version of Windows you are running. While my drives has worked fine, the slide mechanism is REALLY poor.
