Pros: Price on sale with free shipping was fantastic for a name brand USB 3.0 flash drive. Works great in a car system for playing music. USB 3.0 makes this very useful. Fast Upload speed.
Cons: Download speed to the flash drive is not fast, about what you would get from a normal USB 2.0 drive, which is around 5.1 MB/s. Since these are a bottom line name brand flash drive, this really isn't a con. Just don't expect it to be super fast just because it says it's USB 3.0. Upload speeds are where the USB 3.0 makes a difference at almost 70 MB/s in a USB 3.0 port.
Overall Review: Great for playing music and transferring files or pictures to other devices. If you want a faster download speed, you will need to pay more for a drive with faster memory, but for what you get, it's better than a no name brand.
Pros: Price on sale was great for a 16GB drive. Though not a speedy thumb drive, it wasn't advertised as such and you pay more for faster memory.
Cons: Haven't run into any yet. For storing music from my car stereo, it's great. I find the Kingston flash drives to be compatible with more different car stereo systems than any other brand for this purpose.
Overall Review: Don't know why the fuss of some of these reviewers saying it's not fast enough. It just says it's USB 3.0 compatible, which it is. USB 3.0 speeds were 79.1MB/s read, and 34MB/s write. USB 20 speeds were 32.1MB/s read, and 19.1MB/s write on my machine. Everyones computer will be different, but this is excellent for a standard speed memory USB flash drive. You want faster, you pay more, so $10.99 on sale is a great price for a utility grade flash drive.
Works great for storing music, or picture files to take with...just don't expect filet mignon at turkey burger prices folks.
Pros: Lots of storage space (around 119GB reported by Windows).
Customisable with a logo.
Cons: Slow write speeds.
Overall Review: Now that everything has moved to newer faster USB 3.0 you'd think flashdrive makers would step up the performance of their products. This model, like so many others, is stuck with slow Write speeds so if you copy a large amount of files onto the drive .... it will take .... a .... while ............
Pros: - Small
- Easy to Carry on a Keyring
- Decently fast for USB 2.0
Cons: - None
Overall Review: I like these little flash drives so much that I own two of them. While they are only USB 2.0, they are still relatively fast. They are very easy to put on a keyring and not worry about them ripping off or some plastic casing being broken rendering the stick unusable. I have had one of these that has been my faithful companion with Windows 7 on it for about a year and a half, and I just got a second one that will be traveling with me for Windows 8. I have nothing bad to say about these flash drives.
Pros: I really like the metal loop. No worry's about loosing this off your key chain. I can't even tell you how many I have lost with tethers.
Cons: None really
Overall Review: A great flash drive
Pros: Tough metal casing, no cover to lose.
Cons: Can be a bit of a tight fit on some USB sockets, but that can be a boon at times.
Overall Review: Got this item during a sale, almost a 2for1 deal, can't be beat at that price. I have had the 16GB brother for over a year and it has given faultless performance. These are the only flash drives I trust on a key ring all the others I have put on my key ring have ended up with chips and cracks, these things are very robust.
Pros: The sleek look is incredible. So simple. Feels tough/durable at the same time. Gave out several as gifts, everyone loves them!
Cons: Packaging could be a little easier to open...
Overall Review: Great price for a beautiful piece of hardware.
Pros: Small, fits on a key ring easily. Seems very solid. Performs well, and overall very happy with the device. I bought two of them, both rate very well.
Overall Review: Great purchase from Newegg, as always a great experience and fast shipping.
