Question 1

I see that the 'Menu' key has been changed to a 'Fn' key. Can this still be used as a menu key, and if so, does the solution work with operating systems other than Windows? I use the menu key a lot when typing up text and want to use spell checking, and since I type a lot, I don't want a keyboard without the menu key.

No, it does not work the same as the standard "menu" key.  As far as I can tell, it only works with the F-keys to control volume and playback and to launch your browser and email client.  So it's mostly worthless.

To tell you the truth, I never even noticed that the menu key was missing.  I have three different mechanical gaming keyboards and apparently all of them have made this substitution.  You should be able to use Shift-F10 instead, though.  If you can live with that, it's a great keyboard and feels as good as any I've typed on.

Does this work with Linux?  No LED gaming does AFAIK.

The keyboard is a corded keyboard with a USB Type-A plug. It requires no special drivers and is recognized by the BIOS.  I haven't put it on a straight Linux system, but would not hesitate to do so. It is a good keyboard and the  Fn-F12 key disables the Windows key (which can be a royal pain.)  Highly recommended.
