Hello! Does this product have USB passthrough? Because it has two USB cables and I only have one available.

Unlike the non RGB version the second cable is not for a passthrough, in fact this keyboard does not have a USB port on it. The second cable is there for when you are running the keyboard over USB 2.0 to give it enough power for the Panasonic sign controller that runs the lighting effects.

Question 2

What's the difference in the Red Cherry MX and Brown Cherry MX key switch type? And will it still work if both USB cords are plugged into a USB hub? Thanks.

Red Cherry MX are known as a linear switch type which means that there is no tactile bump unlike the MX Brown that have a slight tactile bump at the actuation point. Red also requires less force to reach the actuation point than browns. These two factors give cherry MX red switches a smoother feel, however it is hard to tell where the actuation point is so most people bottom out a lot with them. There is no way to determine which are better besides trying them out. It just comes down to personal preference, there is no "best" switch. I  would recommend going to your local computer store to try them out for yourself out and determine which are better for you. You only use 1 USB cord (the one with the picture of the keyboard on it) only if you are plugging into a USB 3.0 slot. If you are plugging into a USB 2.0 slot then both are required. They only difference is USB 3.0 Can provide more power so the extra cable (which only exist to help power it) isn't needed, however USB 2.0 cannot provide as much power so the use of an addition USB cable for power is needed. I might be misinterpreting your question, if you are asking if both can be plugged into a USB 3.0 port, then I'm not sure if there are any negative repercussions or not, i know someone who did do that for a few months and their keyboard has had no problems. I would however advise against it as it is not needed (unless its a USB 2.0 port). I hope this answered your questions.

What exactly is "USB Passthrough" Referencing to on this keyboard ?

This keyboard does not have the USB Passthrough feature. The old K95 did, but this model does not. USB passthrough is having a USB port on the keyboard itself to plug another peripheral into. This port would then pass through the cables that the keyboard is already using back to the PC. Basically, you would usually combine it with a mouse and just use the two USB ports for the keyboard with the mouse passing through. I would like to stress that even though this keyboard uses two USB ports, it does not have the USB passthrough feature.

How does the keys sound? I got another k95 and this one doesnt really have that "click" sound to it. also the keys itself feels more plasticity compare to the past ones.

Red switches don't really have that "click" sound to it unless you bottom the key out. Also, because red switches have a linear actuation, it doesn't give you that tactile bump to let you know the key is pressed. Could you be confusing it with Cherry MX Blue or Brown switches?

Is it totally compatible with a mac?

This is an interesting question. Yes, it is, but the Mac isn't compatible with it.

The keyboard speaks some "Keyboard" language, but also speaks extra languages that the Mac isn't smart enough to figure out. Mind you, a user is trying to convince a Mac to understand it, but this involves programming Linux drivers for it since the Mac runs Linux at its core. If you are familiar with downloading and compiling binaries from source code on Git, then you may be able to have it work, but for most Mac users it's a non-starter.

Length of the chord?I usually have to use an extension for normal keyboards, so I'm trying to play it safe before spending the money,

The cord length is going to be about 2M (6.5ft) Now this isn't exact But it is a bit longer than me and I'm a 6ft tall gentleman.  The cord has plenty of room.  Now keep in mind it is a thick cable covered in fabric.
