Question 1

I see comments about the bezel size, and I can't really tell from the pictures- how wide is the bezel at the side(s) of the monitor? I'm wondering if I were to run 2 monitors side-by-side, how much "gap" would there be between the 2 actual displays.

1 1/8th" (2.7cm.) So you are looking at over 2 inches (5cm+) between the actual picture in each monitor.

Personally I would rather take that money and get one monitor with a higher resolution. I like this monitor, but it is no where near the quality of my wife's MAC. I did not realize that this monitor was only 1080p until after I ordered it.

I am not upset about it, I do not do the photo editing that my wife does, but for the price of 2 of these monitors I would just buy one really good one.

Is this monitor mountable ?

I had mine on a swivel arm that was rated for up to 24 inch monitors, however had no problem with this 27 inch mounted on it. It's a standard size vesa compatible monitor. You should have no problem mounting it.

By the way, it's a fantastic monitor, very bright clear display. I'm using a DVI connection.

How this monitor going to works for gaming? I want to play like Battlefield 4, I want to know how good is the quality

Hey Christian,
I'm using this mostly for gaming as well, and the most similar games to Battlefield I've played for it are Bioshock and Red Faction. I have it hooked up with a HDMI and have yet to try the DVI connection, but so far it is gorgeous. I have to say, this is my first monitor larger than 24" and the size is somewhat shocking. As soon as you get over that, you can't go back to anything smaller. Again, the quality is awesome, and I'm only using the HDMI thus far.

Does this display support sound inputting through hdmi (such as from a gaming console), or only through the 3.5mm jack?

I bought this display to work as my primary monitor in addition to another monitor, but at the time only had a GPU capable of utilizing one DVI and one HDMI input. So therefor I use an HDMI cable to connect this particular monitor to my PC and the cable does indeed carry the audio from the input device to the monitor speakers, which are actually fairly decent at reasonable volumes. This is of course assuming that it would work the same when linked to a console device instead of a PC. Hope this helps!

can this monitor be wall mounted ?

Yes, this monitor has the tapped four mounting holes to accept a mount. It is also very thin. The contrast, brightness and colors are much better than the Dell flat screen that I replaced.

Can I use this monitor with Windows XP?

I'll be upgrading to Windows 7 soon, but not yet.

I have never had a monitor be incompatible with any operating system.  One ad had 'Win 7 compatible" but that does not mean it is not compatible with any other operating systems. Also read the reviews at any sites where it is sold just to get a good assessments by other purchasers - I did not see any discussions on different operating systems and I am willing to guess they did not all have Win 7. how reliable is this?

I purchased this monitor in September 2013 and it has worked well for me.  I have had no problems and use it for my Photoshop work and video work.

Nice to find a large format monitor with a fast response time that worked right out of the box.

I recommend this monitor.

To answer your question now but While the improvement in motion resolution is notable, its benefit is often hard to notice. Televisions, which also advertise 120Hz or 240Hz panels, further improve motion quality with image processors that change the input sent to them. Many can even add frames, effectively increasing the framerate of content. Monitors, however, have no processor; the input sent is what’s displayed. This minimizes the benefit of the panel when viewing video content. An improved refresh rate also does not guarantee the elimination of “ghosting,” an artifact common to LCD monitors which causes moving objects to leave one or more faint trails behind them.

In short, consumers who don’t game will struggle to notice a difference. Spending money on improved image quality, rather than improved motion performance, is usually the better choice. There are many great IPS displays on the market (like the Dell Ultrasharp series) which rely on 60Hz panels but are otherwise superior to most 120Hz monitors on the market

It comes with a power cord, and a VGA analog cable (blue pinned old style). But with the resolution this monitor supports, should definitely get a HDMI cable for 1080p image quality
