Why the Specifications tab on this page says "Screen size: 24"?

It must be a misprint.  Monitor screen sizes are typically identified by the diagonal screen measurement (for example, bottom left corner to the top right corner).  I own this monitor (BenQ BL3201PH Black 32” 4K 2K UHD Widescreen LED Backlit IPS Panel) and the diagonal measurement 32".  What I find irritating is that the actual width and height of monitor screens is rarely given in the ads.  An infinite number of rectangular (including square) heights and widths could all still have the same diagonal measurement. For your information this monitor's height is 15.75", the width is 27.875". I hope this helps.

Is this Monitor Win 10 capable? All I can find in the references is Win 8.1?

yes, all monitors are ALL operating system capable. The operating system depends on graphics card drivers. If your graphics card supports windows 10 (which I'm 100% sure it will) then this monitor will work flawlessly. It's a really great monitor.. sadly I had to go through 3 of them to get 1 working monitor.

I'm looking at this unit for a 'new build' I hope to finish around December or January.  CPU: 6850K, GPU: EVGA 1080 GTX, 64 Gig of Corsair Vengeance 3200 RAM, 1200 Watt EVGA PS, Dual B/Ray Burners, Media Card Reader, 4K Monitor for DTP/Photo Editing/CAD/Medium Gaming.    My current unit is a 9 year old Dell 420-XPS with 550 W/PS & AMD 6970 Card.
Will the BenQ BL3201PH work well enough on -all- the above?    Also, will that monitor work with my 'antique' Dell & permit a useable display until the new build if finished?     IE: How Well does the BenQ handle up-scaling a lower rez signal to it's high-rez display?

Hi, I got this Benq 32 inch year ago for my new super build dual xeon v3, I do  3D work in Cinema 4D, rendering,  heavy  photoshop  and After Effects work too. Gaming is great, i am playing Witcher 3, Doom, Fallout 3 it looks great. Very good monitor, colors are almost 90% like Apple cinema display with some tweaking of course.  Initially i was considering some ASUS 4K monitors, but they lack good colors and reviews are not the best. I had to RMA this monitor to Benq once,  something happened with control board so all kind of weird lines started appearing, Benq was quick to responde and fix my issue.

This monitor is meant to be used on a PC / Mac. It will be wasted on a console.

Since the OSD control pad connects directly to the monitor, it may be that this function operates without driver support. Is this correct? And is there any functionality limited using this with a Linux machine?
