Does it come with cables?

don't remember but I think it came with hdmi & vga. purchased about 3 months ago. It is a good monitor and fast have not hocked up speakers yet.

Is there a quick way to change inputs on this monitor? From DP to HDMI and back, for example. I have multiple inputs to work with.

Hello, This monitor has three buttons that may be customized for a variety of functions, including changing inputs. You cannot select an input directly, but you can use one button to cycle thru the inputs rather than having to drill down thru the menu structure to change inputs.

There is only one VGA to my knowledge, It's a standard 15 pin connector---5 pins in 3 rows.

Yes, it does have built-in speakers. I tested the audio over both HDMI and the 3.5mm line-in jack and both worked, although when using the 3.5mm line-in I had to go into the monitor settings and change the audio source from "Auto" to "PC-Audio". The quality of the audio from the speakers is fairly poor, so they are likely only suitable for basic system sounds.
