How is this monitor perform in FPS games? Or compare to g-sync?

The monitor handles well. Picture quality is amazing and handles high fps well. I will admit that with high contrast between light and dark you might see some ghosting which with some tweaking can be reduced. I however have not found it to be an issue that I cannot live with and am very pleased with the quality and performance.

Yes

It does have a VESA capability in the back. Cant remember if its 75 or 100MM but doesnt matter most of the time as the standard VESA mount usually has both.
I needed to know this when I bought it to create my own AIO (All In One) system.

I am not having any problems, but I use 1 with a surface pro 3 and the other runs with a dell laptop, both seem to run fine with my applications.

I'm trying to find out the Hertz on this monitor is but don't see it listed anywhere in the specs? Is it at 60hz or higher?

Higher. Great Monitor for general purpose and gaming. It has the gaming Mode. I am using it for almost an year. Its Great.

Lots of comment on gaining functions. Want to know specifically is how well does it perform  watching movies both high definition and not?

My answer is subjective but this is a very high end monitor.  I bought this on behalf of a friend who's system I built.

The picture was sharp at HD. The response was very good. Often times things are blamed on the monitor when the picture is not so good. Make sure the HD content was done at a high bit rate or the monitor will show the lack of quality. Its not the monitors fault! The higher the quality the easier it is to see flaws in the content!

That being said, standard definition was excellent but again since it is done at a lower bit rate this will show (up close.) The monitor is probably the best Samsung monitor I ever bought and I have alot of them.

To answer your question bluntly - this is one of the best monitors you can buy to watch content on.  Its excellent!

Does this monitor swivel downward?

It pivots fwd. & aft. for an angle view,  it does not swivel right & left. Height is fixed. I does have mounting holes to use a VESA wall or desk mount.
