No, it does not have a vesa mount. Just a regular stand with a detachable base.

Is their any washing, black, sides or otherwise? Does the picture extend all the way to the bezels?

there is no black boarder like the old CRT (large old-style monitor). The picture extends all the way. The only black lines I see is when you're running a  widescreen movie, then it's because of the "theater move widesccreen" aspect ratio, whicch is not 16:9 like the monitor. Not  a gamer so I unfamiliar with the lingo. Hope this answers your questions

all these top of the line specs but 60hz? is that a typo?

There is nothing wrong with 60Hz, you must be thinking of HDTV's that often brag about 120 frequency. This is not a TV, but a computer monitor so it is fine, the images are rock steady, and HDTV's play back great.  I"m not a gamer, so perhaps some special gamer monitors have higher values.

I don't have the answer, but as I don't see HDR listed, I wouldn't expect great things at this price point.  I hope I'm wrong as I've ordered one last week and awaiting Newegg to ship it.

How long is the Display Port in length?

The cable is about 6ft. The port itself is a normal display port size. Haha.
My standing height multi monitor setup stratech the cable as far as it can go because my computer sits on the ground. It is just long enough.

You need to make sure you are using the Display port. Then in the menu on the monitor you will need to go into menu -> Picture -> Game Adjust -> Freesync
