Does this monitor have an adjustable stand?

Unfortunately, no. I ended up using a desk mounted stand for it. The desk stand it comes with is very basic and allows no tilting even.

will this monitor connect to a macbook pro?

Yeah it will support a MacBook. If your MacBook has HDMI out then you can go straight to it with an HDMI cable, but if your MacBook is one of the really new ones without an HDMI out port you may need an adapter (thunderbolt to HDMI). Great monitor for the price btw
