Does this monitor have any dead pixels? I was thinking about getting it but I am the kind of person that find dead pixels loathsome.

I also got a refurbished one and had a single blue dead pixel that is also only noticeable if you are looking for it or the screen is a solid black/white color.

Would this be good for gaming?

I purchased a refurbished version a few month back and its been fantastic for gaming. I've been using it as my primary monitor in a triple monitor setup. One comment I would make is that the built in speakers are pretty useless so I'd suggest have dedicated speakers if you buy.

Does it have a headphones out jack?

It does. Haven't ever used it, but the jack is there.

How many watts per speaker?

Stereo Speakers : 2W x 2 Stereo RMS It has two 2 watt speakers. Found it under the products specs on the Asus website.
