Can this be mounted on a stand for a dual monitor set-up?

Accepted Answer

It can be mounted on any arm that's compatible with VESA 100 mm. Whether a dual arm will work depends on the maximum supported screen size for the particular arm. Most seem to support two 27" screens at a minimum, so most likely yes but you should check the specs to be sure.

Is it non glossy?

Dell calls it a "anti glare coating" I would say it's semi-glossy.Enter an answer to this question.

This monitor has control buttons located on the beveled bottom edge.  For multi-monitor arrays, for example a 2x2 or 2x3, with monitors stacked vertical, touching edge to edge, top to bottom, how difficult is it to access the control buttons that will be in a little wedge between monitors?  Fingers will not fit in there, so does Dell include some kind of a flat tool to access control buttons tucked away there in the wedge space between monitors?  it makes no sense to design a thin bezel monitor perfect for multi-monitor arrays, then place the control buttons on the bottom edge instead of the front, but what about the beveled bottom edge approach?

Accepted Answer

If turned vertically the buttons would be non accessible if placed right next to one another, a non issue for the majority of users who will use this horizontally. On the flip side if you place them on the bottom and leave a bezel now you have a fairly significant blank space between screens when turned vertically.
