It has a 100x100 VESA mount on the back, which can be used to mount it to the wall, or to mount it to a VESA display stand.

Is it true 10 bit or 8 bit +FRC ?

It reports it as 10bit in the OS when you drop re refresh rate to 60Hz but the screen is obviously still dithered. If your eyes are not sensitive to dither, point your phone camera at it. It gives be a headache.

Is HDR supported when connected through the DisplayPort? I notice this lists DP 1.2 in the specs, which as far as I can tell, does not support HDR. I'm guessing this means HDR is only supported over HDMI on this monitor. If that is the case, that would be very disappointing for a "gaming" monitor that is G-Sync compatible.

yes HDR supported thru DP and also has 10bit (8+2) color @120hz which ive seen some saying only available @60HZ.

is the 170hz it's default highest setting or is it an overclock?

well I bought it, and the 170hz is an overclock. I personally don't want to overclock my panels so they may last long as possible. I wish they made this clear with their advertising. This is a 144hz monitor that can overclock to 170hz.

Does this monitor have USB pass throughs?

yes it does. it has 2x usb 3.0 type a input, and uses a usb 3.0 type b for downstream (this cable is supplied)
