Did anyone have an issue attaching the actual monitor to the base when assembling? I just received mine and am having issues. I am aware of the lever that you need to pull on the base it just does not seem to fit when pulled.

I had a lot of trouble with this too. It would not fit for several tries.  Then it clicked and went right together.  I think you have to press down firmly at the top until the claws snap into their slots and then the bottom will go in.

So, my dad said the only thing Westinghouse made that didn't suck was a vacuum cleaner. Does this apply to this monitor?

In tthe Submarine service, Diesel Boats, the saying was, "If it is built by GE it may be screwed up but you can be sure if it is a Westinghouse." That being said I am ordering one.

Text for me has been crisp and clear.  I used this monitor for a few months when working from home.  Just a bonus that its also a good gaming monitor.

Yes, you can purchase a separate VESA wall mount for it.

I use Remote Desktop.  What resolutions will Windows offer for the remote connect when using this 3440x1440 monitor?

It does adapt the resolution of the screen accordingly when you remote. I had a bundch of desktops at work that I remote into, but most of them have 2 smaller screens connected to them, but when I remote I have the resolution of this screen. Of course, this is assuming the PCs you remote into can support that resulution.

Does the screen curvature adversely affect watching movies from 10 ft away?
