Can this modem be wall mounted?

Yes, on the right side there are slotted mounting holes for vertical or horizontal mounting.  Since the modem runs a little warm (not hot though), I'd purchase spacers and extra long screws to keep it slightly off the wall for air circulation.

Question 3

Has Arris fixed the problems being reported last year with the intel chipset on the 6190?  I thought there was news about a fix in December, but can't find the current status. Thanks.

I purchased this item December, 2015. I have Comcast. I'm not aware of any chipset issues with this modem. This modem has worked flawlessy since I purchased it. Getting Comcast to recognize it in their system took an extra 30 minutes on the setup, but other than that, a great modem. Again, to date, no issues whatsoever. I get wired speeds at 220 to 240 Mbps - my plan is rated at 200Mbps.

is this modem compatible with Comcast business class with static ip ?

This may or may not help, but I have Comcast, 150Mps Tier (Blast!) as a residential customer and this modem is compatible. I installed it December, 2015. It was relatively new, but Comcast was able to recognize it and activate. It took much longer to activate than my previous modem, most likely because it was so new to the market. It has worked flawlessy since. Ethernet connected, I get speeds up to 180Mps as measured by Speedtest. Other testing sites confer with this speed as well.

Does anyone know if this works with Cablevision/Optimum internet services?

If by Cablevision, that includes Cox Cable, then yes.  Be certain to ask to have all the downstream channels enabled.  Note that it may be fewer than the 32 supported by the modem.  It took a couple of calls to level 2 support to enable 24 downstream channels and 8 upstream channels.  Once those were enabled, downloads were coming in at over 300 mb/s.

Does it work with Cable 1?

That's what I thought too. I called Cable One and they said that it may work with their system but it is not on their approved list, most likely because it is very new model Therefore if I'd have problems, they would not support it.

Question 7

Is their any downside upgrading if you don't have 16, 24 or 32 Channel bonding? I current have a SB 6141, Not 100% sure number of Channel bonding I have.

No downside but potentially no upside either.  Goto 192.168.100.1 and you can see the modem diagnostics for a Motorola/Arris unit.  Unless you can use the additional channels, you will not see a speed increase.  My cable provider just upgraded to a 300 MB down speed which required 16 channels--my previous SB6141 was only 8 channels.  So it was beneficial to upgrade.  Probably a good idea to check with your provider to see how many channels they can utilize.

Does this modem work well with Mediacom?

This modem has terrible latency, jitter and packet loss. There is a lawsuit about it - Google it. Do not buy. Get the SB8200, works much better.

Does the SB6190 work with Comcast and Intermedia voice over telephone systems?

it works very well with cable broadband. However it does not have a voice over IP interface installed in it but I am using an after-market Magic Jack and it works perfectly.
