Does it really come with McAfee embedded in it?

I originally answered that mine did not have McAfee installed when I bought it but have since received an update in the Arris unit which installed McAfee onto the unit.  This appears to be another device which keeps harmful websites from being accessed without knowledge of the user.  I would not rely on this software update to provide total protection of your computer.  It appears to only look at your internet connection and at nothing in your computer(s).  I would still recommend running an AV Suite on each computer as this McAfee software only adds another level of security.  I have noticed no conflict with the AV Suite (F-Secure) which I am using on my computers.

Will this product work with an Internet/phone bundle?  Thank you.

I'm using mine on a Charter Spectrum system.  The cable has a tee (spliter) which splits the signal into one which goes to my telephone modem and one which goes to the SBG7580AC.  I have had the unit for six months with no problem.  If on a different cable provider check to make sure, many have the information on their websites, to ensure compatibility.
