Question 1

I believe this mouse to be Plug and Play; however, I have to double click both sides to get the selection to take effect.  I've tried setting the folders to one click, but when going on the internet, I have to double click the hyperlink. Do you have an upgrade to the driver that will allow me to only have to click the mouse once?

the only advice i can give is to download the Logitech software that allows you to customize the mouse options. i think the download refers to "end point".

Question 2

I just bought this mouse and got it all set up, however, if i stop moving it for a second it goes into sleep mode i guess cause i have to move the wheel to get it to work again. moving the mouse does nothing. how can i fix this?

Hello, is it actually 'sleeping' or is the USB Dongle too far from the mouse?  Use  a usb extension to plug the dongle into and have that extension closer to the location of the mouse.  if the skipping and or 'sleeping' behavior stops, then you know its a problem with the distance the signal has to travel or go through other things in the way, to get to the mouse.
