No. It's wired. It has a wire from the headset to the controller, then from the controller are the 7.1 analog connectors and also another 7.1 connector to connect your sound system.

Does this item break very easily? Also does it have a lot of durability

I've had mine for a little while now, and I can say that so far its pretty sturdy.

My only issue with this is that the USB plug that is used to power the device picks up electrical interference very easily and causes a sort of buzzing sound. Though research I've discovered this is a fairly common occurrence with these headphones.

Though I've sort of learned to deal with it, it can be quite irritating at times. Other then that noise, I love these and they perform brilliantly

Question 3

What type of cabel is it? I always have trouble with tangled cables and getting them all twisted up. (looking for a headset with a cable that doesnt tangle easy. Kinda like how razers keyboard and mouse cables are.

The cable is the same as all the Razer mice and keyboards. I have never had a single problem with my cable tangling up. So long as you have the volume control module in a set place the cord won't tangle on you.

Question 4

Does anything know how long the cables are?  Want to make sure they can comfortably reach my sound card inputs in the back of the tower and still have some slack.

Just did some rough measurements with a tape measure and here are the results: From headset to control thing the length is about 4 ft, from control thing to the plug the cord is about 6 feet in length, overall the whole cable with the volume control is just over ten feet long. Hope that helps Razer might habe the official specs online somewhere if you need something more precise.

I currently have a 5.1 speaker set up for my desktop and am using an audio. Would i have to unplug those to use these headphones everytime?

These headphones have a feature that would make it possible for you to plug the headphones into your computer, and then hook up your 5.1 Speaker system through the headphones, and swap between the two using a button on the volume control.

Of course! You'll need to go into your recording devices and you can disable any mic you want. You can get there by right clicking the speaker icon in the system tray next to the clock. You could also just not connect the mic jack to your sound board and plug in a different mic.

Question 7

I live stream on Twitch and i am looking for a headset where I can mute the music in my headset but not my live stream, so my viewers can hear it but I can't. Can this be done with the inline audio control for this head set or would I need a mix amp audio controller such as the one made by Astro gaming? Or is there a way to do what I am asking with this headset? I have searched the internet for answers for 4 days and have found NOTHING. Can anyone help me?

im not one to know twitch, but i dont believe so it'll only switch between one or the other devices i had to get a sound card to make my music and game play on seperate devices, so i can listen to my music on my speakers, and my game and ts3 on my headset, i was sad to have to buy a sound card for that i thought it would do what your asking too but less you have that sound card it wont

Two Questions:
1) I assume that, with these being analog headphones that plug directly into speaker jacks, adjusting the volume using the knob on the control unit does not affect Windows Default volume in the Windows Volume Mixer.  Can anyone confirm this?

2) I have a smaller than average head size.  Is comfort over prolonged gaming sessions going to be heavily affected by this?

I bought a separate audio card to use these headphones. This way, I could have both speakers and my headphones plugged in at the same time. I have never noticed the volume control knob changing Windows default volume.

I have an average sized head and used them for about 4-5 hours before. The only thing I will mention is that if does affect my ears a little. However, most of the time I don't have anything on my ears so maybe they are just not used to it.

Is it fully compatible with the Playstation 4?

This Tiamat is a true 7.1 analog headset (not digital).  That means there's a lot of audio plugs that need a jack to get the full 7.1 sound - I think the USB is just for power.  The PS4 won't support that out of the box, but I suppose you could get an external 7.1 card like ASUS or Creative and connect the PS4's optical cable into that, then the Tiamat 7.1 into the sound card.  This Tiamat is more for PC's than consoles.
