Is this really like legit? Do they really work? I don't want to buy something that isn't legit.

I bought them to replace the cheap xbox headset. You need an adapter for that to work, but they work fine for the price. I will purchase more when I get a chance at the $5.00 special, just to have, because I seem to replace headsets often and I have paid for more then $8 for worse quality.

Pros;

Cons;
No Mute button
Does not sound as good as a TDK $200 headset or Turtle Beach gaming headset or a Phillips $60, but for what is needed they exceed pricing point.

Will this work with laptop computer?

It depends on the laptop! If it has both a headphone jack and mic input jack, then absolutely yes. If the laptop has no mic input jack, the headphone portion will still work beautifully.

I don't recall because I don't even use it anymore. The headsets are very very uncomfortable. I suggest not buying this one. I had to switch back to my old one after using this for a couple of weeks. It may seem like it is very comfortable since its padded pretty well. The it presses against your ears with a very uncomfortable pressure that I couldn't take it after a couple of weeks.

Is this headset compatible with Windows 8 64- bit operating systems?

should be compatable with any operating system. they take a day or two to stretch to fit your head otherwise they are great. Price is great , hang these over the arm of couch if possible, helps stretch faster.

does it work only on pc or will it work on mac?

This isn't software, it is just hardware. There is no installation required, just plug it into any device that has a 3.5mm jack, which is the standard for most media devices with headphone support. This includes many portable media players, home stereo systems etc, not just computers. In other words, the technology is pretty universal.

If so, yes, if not, no.

Don't know MAC equipment, but the industry is all pretty standard in these regards nowadays. I don't use the mic, just like that headsets are louder than headphones, don't know why. If you have an appropriate sized jack for mic & speaker, you shouldn't have any problem. Note that these cover the ears for better blocking of outside noises. One curious quirk about headsets is that they ALL have a speaker switch / volume control, which seems good, except that this is the part that will break first if you're not careful.

At the time, I bought three each of about 8 different headsets. Liked a couple a lot, none were terrible, but truth be told, I'm back to headphones (no mic) with a Behrenger HA400 headphone amp.

What platforms does this headset work with? I'm looking for something that will work with android, pc, and playstation 4.

It just has headphone and mic jacks, so if you can plug those in to your system, you're good. It's just hardware, not os specific.

nothing, it's a cheap headset. it sounds ok, and mic is half decent. it's not meant for anything professional by any means, just standard gaming and talking.
