Hi, Im wondering if anyone knows whether there is a light indicator for the mute button, or to let you know the line is active?

Yes, there are two small LED's indicating headphone mute status, and microphone mute status, as well as the superbright LED indicating whether or not it is connected to the computer properly. (I recommend  a small piece of electrical tape over that, it is annoyingly bright.)

Has this product been upgraded to be used by windows 10?

Does it work with PS3?

I am not entirely sure. I don't have a PS3, but I am going to say no. It doesn't work with any of my other USB devices, including my Vizio Co-Star smart device. I believe it's a computer only headset. However, it's relatively inexpensive and worth the buy if you enjoy surround sound on your computer.
You have to be able to install the drivers. So no, it will unfortunately not work with your PS3, unless you can figure something out.
