I've heard that the switches on this model break down quickly. Has Logitech imposed better quality control since then?

I’ve had this switch panel for over a year and have had no issues what so ever. Switches are still crisp with no wiggle or sloppiness.

This switch panel doesn't work when bought alone as per my experience. Will this switch panel work if used together with a Saitek Flight Yoke System?
