I don't know for certain, since I haven't used Win8, but I expect it would. Sorry for not knowing specifically. I love mine. I came from a Logitech with the speed scroll, so missing that makes the scrolling seem to take forever - lol.

Will this mouse work in window 10?

Yes, it installed on my windows 10 just like any plug n play mouse.
You can use the supplied cable for wired mode and will charge while you use, if you want wireless just plug the cable into the base and pair with mouse (hold down the connect button for 3 seconds on both the mouse and base until the light flashes), The base also works as a charger. I recommend downloading the SteelSeries engine software which is available on their website for illumination control, battery power saving options, button configurations and mouse sensitivity settings.

Question 3

Okay the video says that the docking station acts as the wireless receiver... Does this mean that I have to have the docking station plugged into my laptop just to used the mouse wirelessly?

Yes the dock is needed for wireless, and while its bigger it also doesn't slide easily and is good for holding other cables out of the way on the desk, get an extra micro usb cable for the base and keep the included one with the lock for portable use. 
I have used it on my Windows desktop for gaming and MacBook in wired and wireless configurations and it works great either way.
If your using it with a portable and wireless all I can recommend is to turn off all led's and set the profile to "power saver" in the SteelSeries Engine 3 software so the polling rate etc is lower and battery life is increased

Question 4

Sensei SteelSeries has had problems with scroll wheel inadvertently clicking up instead of down after a while of use.  Can anybody confirm if this issue has been fixed with this mouse?

I'm not sure this is a problem with the mouse itself.  Are you using Windows?  Either Vista or 7?  The reason I ask is I've used two different USB mice with Windows 7, and there have been times I've experienced a problem that seems similar to what you describe with both, and one of those mice I used with Windows Vista and occasionally had it do it there as well.  I suspect it might actually be either a minor problem with using USB mice in general with Windows (as I've never had the specific brand or model you're having problems with) or else it's because for whatever reason there are times we're stopping the wheel between 'bumps' so that the next time we do something it tries to scroll as it isn't properly seated in a 'neutral' position.

about the usb charging wired, what should i do when i'm going to plug onto the mouse? should i turn it off 1st before plug? or just plug and the mouse will charge?

Its mentioned in the instructions, but you would want to turn off the mouse by the switch on the bottom, then unplug the USB connector from the base and into the mouse. Turn the mouse back on and you're good to go. I haven't had the issue where I've needed to plug it in with the USb because the battery life is great and the indicator light is very helpful.

Will it integrate with the Steel Series keyboard in my MSI laptop?

Yes as long as your MSI Laptop lets you use SteelSeries Engine 3 they both should work together.
