Is this joystick compatible with windows 8.1 or ELITE DANGEROUS?

This product works well. I have stopped using it as i would prefer to have the throttle and flight controls separated. I found myself wishing i hadnt purchased this but not because of the product but rather configuration preference.

does this come with disk?

No it does not, but you can download the drivers and the tuning software from the Mad Catz website. I was able to download and install it faster than I would have if I used a disk.
