does this allow for 2 separate volumes of game/music and chat audio?

In my experience, the sound card only controls the volume/chat output of the hyper X headset. You will have to manually adjust the volume/music in the applications you are using.

What headsets is this compatible with?

should work fine with any headset, although I haven't test it with any other ones since I only have the hyperx cloud revolver

Will this work with the xbox one?

it should work with xbox1 or ps4 but I don't have the console to try it out

will this work with the hyperx cloud alpha?

I'm using it on the HyperX Cloud Revolver if that helps
