How fast is the speed version of this pad compared to the razer goliathus speed or mm200? Also, since this pad is a bit small, would it be possible to put two of them together without too much of a noticeable gap in the middle?

Twice as fast at 8200 DPI in my opinion. I use the Corsair M65 RGB Mouse with max weight and find that this mouse/pad combination superior to my Razer Imperator/Goliathus combo. It is NOT possible to use them together due to different thicknesses. Closest thing Razer has to the Skyn is the Sphex and it is a slim comparison.

The graphics printed on the Goliathus and the cloth/foam combo interfere with precision. I notice a marked reduction in accuracy over the green snakes. I also find the high level of friction unacceptable.

The Skyn is superior in my opinion as it is only as thick as a cereal box paperboard, slick and smooth for the mouse, yet textured for highly precise play. The Skin is comparable in size in my opinion, but is superior to that outdated cloth and neoprene pads as it does not absorb hand oils, sweat or spilled coffee. It also cleans up easily with just a damp paper towel or wet wipe.
Skyn wont ever have the cloth peeling from the foam issue.
If you have a shaky hand or tend to overcompensate often with your mouse movements, I suggest you go with the high friction Goliathus. (My kids now use the razer combo mentioned.)

It also depends on what games you play. For FPS, the Corsair/Skyn Combo is superior particularly in Titanfall, the fastest FPS available now. If you are an MMO type, stick with the Razer.
