How comfortable is it?

This is a specialized type of mouse pad -- though use of the word 'pad' is in itself not descriptive of this item: this is not the traditionally soft, fairly thick item one thinks of when using the term. It is, as the title rightly suggests, and desktop skin: thin material, with a firm. textured surface. As such, it is no more or less 'comfortable' than resting one's arm on the top of one's own desk. But I am a big fan and have bought several. Typically, a mouse might work well with one surface, but another won't. I have tried many surfaces and find this one absolutely the most responsive for unerring, responsive mouse tracking and this goes for all the mice I have tried on it.
