How many comps is this good for?

The pack contains 3 separate DVD boxes, each box containing 1 instance (license) of Win 7. So the 3-pack is good for 3 computers, 1 for each DVD.

I have 2 PCs running Vista OS home edition. I will reformat the hard drives in both, and want to load Windows 7 Professional OS on both. Is this the product I want?

The decision is based on 2 PCs versus the 3-pack. 2 singles will likely be cheaper so that is the deciding factor there. Are you running 64-bit or do you wish to? This product gave me 64-bit Windows 7 on the 3 systems where I installed it. I was told it would do both but I do not recall that the choice ever came up so I suspect it will go 64 - unless you're installing it on a drive that has 32-bit and you do not format. A big IF - if you have software that will NOT go 64-bit and you want to keep using it, you may wish to consider installing this and selecting not upgrade (can't remember what the choice IS just NOT upgrade) and it will save all of your files and programs in a folder so you don't have to copy back on. But NEVER trust it with the formula you have for changing seawater into gold. It's good but I rarely trust it. :-)
