Need for Speed Deluxe Upgrade is a digital add-on for Xbox One players who already own Need for Speed and want extra performance and styling content, a BMW M3 E46 starter car, and a 10% discount on in-game items; persistent internet access is required.
Recommended For
- Need for Speed (2015) owners who want to start with the BMW M3 E46 and included performance and styling items rather than wait to unlock them through progression.
- Players who enjoy building and personalizing street cars and want extra styling parts, wraps, and a discount on in-game purchases.
- Existing players who want a small collection of early-game extras for the game’s racing and car-customization progression, rather than a separate campaign or expansion.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- Starting a new career and wanting a choice beyond the standard starter cars? The upgrade adds the BMW M3 E46 as an extra starter-car option, so you can begin building your garage around it earlier.
- Planning to buy cars, visual parts, or performance parts with in-game currency? The 10% discount reduces their in-game cost, which can help players who expect to make several purchases as they progress.
- Want to adjust a car for different events or driving preferences? The Performance Pack adds performance items to work with the game’s tuning and upgrade systems; items already unlocked through normal progression are not granted a second time.
- Enjoy changing how your cars look and want a more personalized garage? The Styling Pack, exclusive wraps, stickers, and VIP icon add cosmetic options for customizing your cars and player identity.
- Expecting to play the base game’s story or street races with these extras? The upgrade adds content to Need for Speed, but it is not the game itself and does not remove the persistent internet connection requirement.
