| Synopsis | Guest star Cynthia Nixon turns in a powerful performance as Janis Donovan, a woman with multiple personalities who may have abused and fatally harmed her daughter. As Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) dig more deeply into the case - with initial resistance from Dr. Henry Carlisle (guest star Bronson Pinchot) -- Donovan continues to present even more personalities along with a harrowing twist to the case.
