Spec says this card has Bluetooth 4.0 and I've had the card for nearly a year now, using various operating systems, and have never seen Bluetooth function on it. It's not a big deal, as I have a USB BT adapter, but is there something I'm missing, or is the spec incorrect?

No, the card doesn't have any Bluetooth capabilities. It's just a good Wi-Fi card. What you may have seen is that some Wi-Fi cards are designed so that they will neither cause interference with Bluetooth nor receive interference.

No this is not a bluetooth device. The Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 is an IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless network adapter that operates in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz spectra.

I don't know why the bullet list on Newegg's product page mentions the word bluetooth - that must be a mistake.

Will this work with Win8 ?

Yes.  Just use the corresponding Intel proset wireless drivers with the "ds" suffix straight from Intel's website.  I am consistent at 300 mbs bouncing in to 450 mbs now and again.  Great to have 2.4 GHz & 5GHz capability but, remember the higher the frequency the shorter the distance.  Hope this helps.  Great card, would buy more.

I purchase a couple o Itel 633ANHMW from you a year and half ago.  I have had to re build one of the systems and can not find the windows 7 32bit driver for it.  Can you help?

Before purchasing, MAKE SURE that your BIOS "whitelist" will allow your computer to run with wireless card installed. I purchased but found out too late that I could not modify my BIOS or otherwise make it work with this card. Call HP if you can and check with them as only they know the full whitelist without looking into the BIOS

Will this work with a toughbook cf-19?  It's an intel duo core 1.06.

I put this in an older Compaq and the hardware is not on the list of approved hardware so laptop boot was halted. I found a hacked bios , flashed and it worked fine. I only had 2 antenna wires and it also worked fine but not at the full speed of the card... I also needed a full to mini pci adapter...

Will this work in my Dell Latitude E6510?

It should work.  It is best to check with Dell as it depends on whether there is a driver that supports your operation system (XP, or Vista, or WIN7, or WIN8).  Dell lists drivers for this card for 32-bit operating systems.

The current wi-fi card in my Dell Inspiron i15RV-1952blk does not support dual band reception. Will this card fit in my Inspiron,and give me reception in the 5.0 frequency?

I tried to hunt for the manual of this laptop to find out what kind of network card it has already. As I can see that it is a standard 802.11 abgn network card, I am assuming it is a mini pcie wifi card.

This card will fit in your computer, but it will most likely only have two antennas while this card requires three to operate.

You can purchase the third antenna separately such as by googling internal wifi antenna.

You can install this easily if you are already able to take out your wifi card. You will need to look up optimizing internal wifi antennas to find a good location on your laptop to put it in.

Your current card already gives you reception in the 5ghz frequency through using wireless A networking, but I am assuming you are talking about using wireless N or even AC in the 5 ghz range.

AC is the newest standard which this card will not support, but it will support both 2.4 and 5 ghz for wireless N.

does this need an antenna? i just wan't something that can give me a good connection from about 30' away. i only do gaming from my pc so i need something that will have as best of a connection as i could get.

Yes, this is designed to be used with 2 or 3 antennas. It is a laptop WLAN card replacement. I haven't tried using it without antennas.
