does this have a cable port to screw in my internet cable?

No, it does not have a cable connection for an RG6 or RG59 cable like would be delivered by Comcast or Cable One.  This is a wireless router for home use, you will still need the box provided by the cable company (cable modem) or the DSL modem from the phone company.  Input to this device must be an RJ-45 connection on an ethernet cable from the next device upstream.  A fiber termination may provide this connection.

Is it compatible with Windows 7 Ultra?

The device is accessible via the network connection using a web browser.  The operating system is not important on this device, so long as you have a recent web browser, Chrome, Firefox, even I.E., you can change the settings and control it.  Like most routers you will use the web address 192.168.1.1 in the address bar to login.  Follow the instructions for cable connections and default passwords and user information.

Nice simple home device for connecting multiple devices wirelessly to a single internet connection.

Note this device requires that a cable modem or DSL modem be in place it does not connect directly to either.

I believe it's a year.  I bought this refurbed product, and my 5ghz started dropping almost everyday.  I replaced this product with a flunk router, and no more 5ghz dropping.

The Router itself requires 12 V DC and the power adapters have to provide this voltage and they need to adapt the voltage and frequency of the country they are used in; such as Australia, Europe, USA, etc.

I tried to download the most recent software and set up guide for this Netgear WNDR3400 router. However, I can not find what version (v1, v2 or v3?) is the router that I have? Nor can I find the serial number of this product (Serial # tag is blank), thus can not register this product. Please help?

If you purchased this exact item from Newegg, it is a factory refurbished product that is only covered by a retailer-provided 40 day warranty.  Mine was a V1, but the one you receive may be different.  To check the version you have, look at the NetGear Smart Wizard >> Maintenance >> Router Status and make note of the firmware version.  You can also update from the NetGear Swart Wizard >> Maintenance >> Router Upgrade section.
