does this router comes with Internal HDD or just the router?

No, this model does not, you would actually see the drive as part of the packaging.  On another note, any SATA internal harddrive will work in that drive bay.
I am using 4 TB Seagate desk backup external usb 3 drives instead of the internal.

Can it transmit both the 2.4 and 5ghz signals simultaneously?

Yes it does - I have some devices on the 2.4 and others on the 5.  Fan makes a little but of noise but overall a good router

Can the fan inside this router be unplugged or turned off?
I don't plan on adding a hard drive as a NAS.

No the fan cannot be disabled and does run 100% of the time regardless of data usage.

Do you have to have a 3.5 sata HD installed or can you just plug in a 1TB hard drive via USB?

You can just connect a hard drive via USB, but it will not be as fast as the internal drive.  Note that an internal drive in this router never spins down.

This wifi router has a gigabit 4-port network switch on the back of the wifi router and can support gigabit fast wifi speeds if you have fast internet... This wifi router is a great addition to add to your home network/small business.

no it does not but install a hard drive and it has one touch backup for your media card. The 5g wireless band is exceptional for phone and tablet surfing if your phone can read the higher 3 digit chanel numbers

What is the next fastest to the n900?  I have 7 devices including netflix and live in 2 story house

Don't know how to compare another as fast as the n900, but im using 2 notebooks, 1 tablet, 4 smartphones, 1 Netflix bd, 2 smarttv, printer, plus media hd, and all runs pretty well, way better than my previous cisco 4200, faster and wider signal range
