Sorry, I don't know if it's Windows 8 compatible. I would imagine it is compatible. You may have to go and ask D-Link to be sure

Does this include a driver for Windows XP?

Although it's time to put Windows XP to bed (XP's end of life is just a few short months away)., The driver should be on the supplied disk or can be obtained from the Edimax website.
