regrettably, I got this as a gift, but my guess on the size with antenna removed is about 5X4 inches.  This if from looking at the dimensions on the box.  Hope this helps somewhat.

can i use plug this router into my Cox cable modem to obtain wireless connection for my laptop?

This router should work fine connected to your cable modem to provide your laptop a wireless connection.  I have mine connected to my cable modem with Xfinity.  I use mine for both wireless connections to my laptop and smartphone and wired connection to various desktop machines I am working on.

I am fairly new to all of this.  I have over the air broadband.  I have a sony blue ray disc player next to my TV and they are about 20 feet  from my PC.  I have a ooma telephone on my desk also.  I want to stream from my disc player to my computer and hook up my phone.  I have no other devices to use wirelessly.  Will this router do the job?  Do i have to get any additional accessories?  Thanks for your help

Hey Bob thanks for your quick response.  When I had my original setup put in by a tech guy he installed the wireless router and also a usb adapter on my computer.  He connected the router via an ethernet cord.  Do I need a new adapter that matches the type/brand router?  You say only 1 device, does that mean I don't need the adapter?  I'm confused.  Thanks

No, you don't need a CD to setup. Just connect the router to laptop and go to internet browser and type http://192.168.0.1 and then login as admin without password to setup.

Can't say about Time Warner but I can say it works perfectly fine with ATT U-Verse and Comcast\Xfinity. Granted I had to set up to do double-NAT but it still worked fine with both services. It should work fine with Time Warner if they just dish out DHCP addresses to any device that connects to their equipment. If they require a username/ password then you should still be able to configure this router with that information in order to connect.

If you have an IP camera or have setup your USB camera to have an ip, then you would need to forward the port in the router to the machine the camera is connected to.
